Yeast Calculator - Gravity Does not effect cell count?

Hi

I have noticed that the starter calculator only changes the cell count relating to gravity if you select Braukaiser Stir Plate. All other selections have no effect on cell count when you change gravity. It changes the measurements of DME. Is this a bug, or am I missing something.

Also what is so special about Braukaiser stir plate and where do you get one?

Braukaizer stir plate refers to a data set established by Kai Troister. He experimented making starters with his stir plate and came up with a formula that is just one of the formulas you can use to calculate pitch counts.
