I was gifted a small bottle of Wild Strawberry Puree- now trying to figure out a recipe. Any suggestions-- thinking maybe a wheat beer. Not a fan of real sweet fruity beer.

Agree. An American Wheat would be a good choice. Or a Sour if you are so inclined.

I'd be curious as to the potency of the "strawberry" flavor. Maybe dose a glass of beer with small, measured amounts of the extract until you find the right level and then scale up to your batch size from there??

Good luck and please keep us posted if you go down this path.

Thanks for your response. I am going to do some web searching and see if I can find some recipes using amoretti purees and see how much they used in a typical saison/wheat/etc.

I did a strawberry whitbier a few years ago with 2kg of pureed strawberrys in the fermenter inused fermentis WB06 it was tart but tasty.

Any light beer, wheat, cream ale, Kolsch would all work.
Also a cider or seltzer.
Cheers
Brian
