Which Yeast Target Pitch Rate Do you use?

I reuse my yeast batch to batch I always make starters before hand using my wort taken on brew day. When I first began brewing I used to consult the yeast calculator. But i feel like I've got a good feel for how most yeast are going to behave with the conditions I give them so basically 1.5 lt starters using previous 250ml - 500ml saved starter for ales and usually a two step 2.5lt starters for lagers.
Never fails ive found :).
