Brewing a Surly Brewing 'Axe Man' IPA; it's a lively one!
I haven't had Axe Man in a few years but, when I had it was really good! May have to pick one up for the holidays.
First thought: How is this guy going to help clean out your grain mill?Today I brewed a cream ale/corn lager type thing; fermenting with Bavarian Lager yeast at 55-60F under pressure. Bottled a blackberry mead, cleaned kegs, and tried out a new handheld "violent fan" to replace compressed air cans to clean out my grain mill
It's rechargeable, which is nice. And doesn't spew unknown (to me) liquids when the can gets cold. I miss the burst action of the compressed air can, but this seems like a good permanent replacement to a disposable item. 2 cans are $15ish and this was under $30.First thought: How is this guy going to help clean out your grain mill?

Then I Googled and found this. Never knew these existed. How does it compare to cleaning with compressed air?

Pretty handy little tool. To clean my grain mill, I’ve been using my battery leaf blower. It's rechargeable, which is nice. And doesn't spew unknown (to me) liquids when the can gets cold. I just bought a battery operated leaf blower and was about to suggest the same.Pretty handy little tool. To clean my grain mill, I’ve been using my battery leaf blower.![]()
I don't see why that wouldn't work!…so my gas backpack blower isn’t a good idea then?
