I haven't had Axe Man in a few years but, when I had it was really good! May have to pick one up for the holidays.

The barrel symbolizes the burning of last year's garbage
To these guys the barrel has deep meaning and is used to evoke memories of many a frigid day doing construction. We remember the guys and stories of olden times. Some stories are told over again. For once I'm actually being serious
We didn't empty any of my kegs but sampled all 4. I would say the Mandarin Wheat was the favorite. It's always the same " I don't generally drink wheat beer" I hopefully changed a few minds

Today I brewed a cream ale/corn lager type thing; fermenting with Bavarian Lager yeast at 55-60F under pressure. Bottled a blackberry mead, cleaned kegs, and tried out a new handheld "violent fan" to replace compressed air cans to clean out my grain mill

First thought: How is this guy going to help clean out your grain mill?

Then I Googled and found this. Never knew these existed. How does it compare to cleaning with compressed air?

It's rechargeable, which is nice. And doesn't spew unknown (to me) liquids when the can gets cold. I miss the burst action of the compressed air can, but this seems like a good permanent replacement to a disposable item. 2 cans are $15ish and this was under $30.

Pretty handy little tool. To clean my grain mill, I’ve been using my battery leaf blower.

I just bought a battery operated leaf blower and was about to suggest the same.
It's a nifty thing

Made the trip to the home brew shop to get ingredients that I don't have for the Community Dunkel

Also took a gravity sample and set the fermenter to 1C on the sweet stout. The chocolate flavor in the sample was like dark chocolate, and it wasn't as sweet as I think it should be. I think I will add some more lactose, and a wee dash of vanilla to the keg before racking.

Cleaned, sanitized and filled the keg which held the Dunkel. Filled with Brown Sound my English brown ale. Very small sample was promising. Only a week old so I don’t want to get too excited. 4.3% 21 ibu.
