Great game.
 
Championships, in any sport, should be decided by play on the pitch. I guess this is a long accepted method (penalty kicks) in football, but I personally think that after the injury time it should be sudden death, next goal wins. Maybe in the final game, just go to Sudden death after 90 minutes.
Just my opinion, it is what it is, as a Canadian, no skin in the game anyways.

The wort thing was the SNP (Scottish National Party) - who want independence - were backing Italy to win. Anyone But England for them...

They are despicable people.

One of my work mates is English he started the day by telling me he doesn't want to know the result in the soccer (sorry that's what we call it down here footy is either rugby or league).

Anyhow I know now he'll be pretty stroppy tomorrow.
Bloody Italy they've done it to Us before if you remember in the World Cup years ago!
 
There was a ridiculous number of games to watch over the weekend .. Copa America x 2, Euro x 1, and the Gold Cup starting in North America has 3 and featured 1 each for Mexico, Canada and the US. A guy could run out of beer at this pace.

I hope the team he plays in will not be eliminated right away! And by the way, if you write this about your team, my friend, you have very little chance because you have to believe in your team and your victory, and then you will have a chance to take a higher place. By the way, I recently started reading a news portal about football https://zumroad.com/sport. And what is the UEFA Champions League going on now, and I don't know about it? It's a pity that I missed a lot of great matches, but I'll watch a replay of them.
 
For a non-bot post to this resurrected topic. I found out on Saturday that Bayern Munich were playing Manchester City at Lambeau Field (NFL Green Packers home) that night. I really wish I would have known this before is was too late! :mad:

Edit: Although, the three delays for heavy thunderstorms would probably have taken the shine off the experience.

Either that or the bots have outsourced the menial tasks back to humans! :p
