Did anyone else try to use the water chemistry calculator linked to the recipe this weekend? I was trying to use it and all kind of crazy things were happening. I couldn't see a source water section at all, my grist wasn't transferring over.... No bueno - I ended up having to correct my pH upward due to acidulated malt that wasn't being accounted for!

they were updating the website recently, right when it starts and stops processes or reboots all kinds of issues happen for a few moments then it starts working again

That's what you get when you drink barleywine before the brewday starts.

I KNEW there had to be a reason.... :)

I tried several times and it would not link the advanced water calculator to my recipe. It was the mash from hell, starting with the issues with the water calculator. That caused me to undershoot my mash pH. I corrected back with sodium bicarbonate but due to the small volume in my mash tun and the long time opened, my mash temperature plummeted, so the mash I wanted at 154 degrees descended into the 140's.... Oh, well, there will be bad days, right?
