Waimea in dry hop

[Starter Hops]

I'm looking to clone a favorite local IPA of mine. Hops used in the beer's description mentioned waimea, so I'm going to guess with this recipe waimea is in dry hop, where it is also blended with citra. Any experience with waimea?

I've got 4oz of Waimea in the mail since I renewed my AHA membership.

I'll probably just make a smash with this, unless I find something more interesting out there

My Waimea smelled fine, but the pellets were dry and long, like they weren't cut properly.

I included zythos, Citra, and azacca in the recipe with the Waimea (in dryhop) and I couldn't identify specifically their contribution.

Hopefully AHA checked their hops' quality out before they sent them to all the new members
