Unexpected connections

So I posted something on FB about the progress of my kegged and carbonating Pine Tar Stout (thread in recipe forum) and had some back and forth with a friend about our brewing. Then my dad's cousin is like, "Hey, did you know that I work for Blichmann Enginerring?" Huh?! How did I not know this? I mean, it's not like I'm going to get hooked up with anything, but it was crazy to find that out after all these years.

If he works for them; they probably get some sort of discount. You could ask about it and see what happens. I can get discounts for family/friends on the products where I work and I don't see why she wouldn't either.

Indeed. She just asked if I'd like a tour, seeing as how the factory is only an hour north of me. Score!
