Thoughts on buying ingredients more cheaply

I'm a bit interested in saving a penny or two and came across a source of cheaper ingredients....

Yea definitely buying in bulk is best heck if you can buy a whole pallet it's even cheaper again. I'd love to know what the big breweries get there base malt for per kg.

I got no idea what big breweries pay But joe public can buy Muntons Maris Otter 25kg for $20 here in the UK Which is a good price.

I joined the American homebrewers association and they give decent discounts at homebrew stores, breweries, pubs,etc. Not sure if there's an equivalent in the UK or elsewhere.

To Trialben's point, maybe do a group buy with some brewing buddies to help share the upfont cost?
