What type of thermometer do you brewers use, I have bought used and returned 3 digital ones with the cable probes so far (7 months) My kettles have old school ones but I like having the digital one in my mash tun (48 liter cooler). anyone have a suggestion on a good reliable digital?
A quick read digital thermometer from BBQ shop i recieved it as a gift and thought id match it against my slow read digital thermometer anf guess what both were withing .2c of one another. So i use the bbq thermometer 3 second read time. Im not super fussed about mash temps though "within the degree C is ok with me".
Anything from thermoworks. All their stuff is quality. I have the dot model works great not that expensive either.
