took my time, and tried not to multi-task as much.
also, I drank way less home-brew.....

drinking too much homebrew while making homebrew has ruined many a homebrew, lol.

Or, as a friend of mine out in western Colorado says, it takes a lot of beer to make wine. He's a researcher in grape production so every time I go out there, I take him beer.

We could start a new organization: Brewers Against Drunk Brewing but the acronym sucks.... Safety first, guys! Enjoy your homebrew in moderation as long as you're dealing with big pots of hot liquid, glass carboys, yada, yada....

Definitely! Also learned this the hard way after splashing boiling wort onto my sandaled feet...
(Had I not been drunk, this probably would've never happened. Being as drunk as I was, it didn't hurt as much as it could have....fwiw :roll: )
