Hi all,

I have only ever drunk my IPA's fresh, and the general rule seems to be 'drink 2 - 6 weeks' before the hops fades.

So I'm trying to stock up for over and after Christmas.
If I brew, then keg an IPA, can I wait and dry-hop a couple of weeks before consumption?
If so, how long is too long before hopping and drinking?

It makes sense to me, but does anyone do it this way?

I get rushed and impatient like most people but you can and I have done many times fermented for a week dry hopped for a week and force carbed then drank the next day so thats 15 days, it won't be clear but it will be hoppy

if you let that set 15 more days the hops will fade but the beer will taste better
