Stirring during fermentation

Any pros or cons regarding stirring during fermentation?
I have a experimental Honey Mango Ale 3 days into primary fermentation. I am hoping to increase the fruit flavor an wondered if stirring things up would help.
 
Stir gently if you must. I doubt it will increase the flavors. Mango is very delicate. While fermenting the beer is covered by carbon dioxide. Stirring that in won't hurt. If you splash it around enough you can get air in and oxygen is your enemy. All that said, I don't think it will give you more flavor. Only more mango will give you that.
