We’ve got showers and internet, here in Valdez. Beautiful time completely off-the-grid with no signs of other humans anywhere at all, but it feels great to be back to running water!
LOTS of fish, a few bears, sea lions, sea otters, seals, porpoise- but no whales spotted. We have a cooler full of fish, frozen and ready to head back to the lower 48. I took hundreds of photos, but these are the ones that really sum it up for us. And yes, there is a black bear visible in the picture of the salmon stream!
