    is this the Maltose Falcons' Drew Beecham method or a different one?? It seems like a really good idea

    What pressure and how long do you heat it? I have been going up to 15# and then flame off. Pretty handy to save wort!

    Ward - I double up on the dme that drew uses. Add a quart of water to the starter when I use them, increases my yield.
    head - 15 psi for 15 mins
