In st Petersburg for the weekend,
Planning on Green bench brewing company,
Any close that I might check out?

We stopped at cycle brewing company on our rounds last night, I has a rice lager that was clean, but way too bitter. I was happy with the making and processing, just not the recipe.
Another 1/2 pour was a 9% stout with some seasoning and peanut butter, aged in a barrel, that was nice and I guess what they're most known for.

I just got back. Try St Pete Brewing, Pinellas Aleworks , Cage. If on the beach, try Mastry's

If you get further north, Dunedin has like 8 or 10 as well..all walkable from each other.

Off to the Saturday market now!

You guys are getting me all confused
The St Petersburg I know is in Russia and Dunedin in New Zealand :D

I love that place too. I stayed there last fall. We stayed on the beach this time and got very lucky with the weather. I drank a shi*load of beer this week. I found a number of places in the St Pete area that I liked.
I don't know what your plans are or how you are getting home, but if you get across the bay, Southern Brewing in Tampa had some wonderful beer. It isn't in the nicest of neighborhoods, but the beer is worth it.

When I get back into Tampa, Cigar City is a can't miss.
Spending some time down by the Pier today

We did visit Green Bench and it was great. I had a Marzen , a Hazy and a short pour of a smoked beer.
All very well done.
Walked out on the Pier and around town a bit, then had Mexican for dinner.
Overall a really nice weekend getaway.
Cheers,
Brian
