specialty grains

I’m new to brewing and I’m attempting a zombie dust IPA clone. Should I steep the specialty grains separately or do an infusion? I got the recipe off of rewear friend but it doesn’t specify. Thanks for the help in advance.

Without knowing the process used you have a grocery list, not a recipe. I would suggest doing a recipe search here on this site. You'll either find a recipe that very closely resembles yours that includes process information or another solidly rated recipe.

You steep grains in water always, and proceed from there. If you post your recipe, we can give you exact directions.
