Shipping beer to Brazil

I have a friend in Brazil who would like some of my American homebrew.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to ship homebrew to a friend in Brazil, with or without success. If one is inclined to make fine distinctions I understand it's probably not what one might call "legal" - but is it feasible? Any tips?

If it's like shipping for contest, don't label it beer but pack it well and hope for the best. If they open the package you may be SOL but otherwise it will probably ship fine.
