    Hey Larry
The recipe editor currently calculates simple sugar additions into the boil gravity(pre boil) but these are mainly added after mashing.
I usually open another recipe sans sugar to give me my expected end of mash gravity. Any way to have this done auto or choose to exclude from mash?
    Thanks
    Clay L

Re: Boil Gravity with simple sugars

Check it as a late addition and it will not be part of the boil gravity. Use the little down arrow button to expand the fermentable line so the late addition box is visible. However, this will impact IBU calculations. If you are actually adding the sugar at the start of the boil we have a new requirement to address. There is another thread here that talks about a new drop down box for fermentables (mashed, boil, late addition, etc). That would be the ultimate solution.
