Hi, is there a way we can auto save a recipe in the recipe builder in case of a time out of wrong click when your fine tuning a big one for a long time before we get a chance to? after thinking about this more clearly, the auto save might tax the server too much..say 10 people filling out the form at the same time all auto saving every 5 minutes might drive mysql crazy, to many simultaneous posts..... :mrgreen: an easier and less complicated approach would be the link to the yeast calculator is also a save button
Given the discussion of a very similar this topic here, viewtopic.php?f=5&t=863, and the introduction of the warning before navigating away viewtopic.php?f=7&t=889, we are marking this one as resolved. Indeed auto-saves can be annoying and tax the server. If we were to implement this it would have to be a profile option so users can turn it off. I like to pull up recipes, fiddle with them, and then discard the results. The warning that will come up before navigating away solves this issue. Of course if your computer crashes, or you close your browser, that is another story...
