Question about forwarding Tilt data

    I can’t forward data from my Tilt Hydrometer to Ubidots. The data arrives at Brewers Friend & I can plot it, but I can’t even create a new device on Ubidots.

    Here’s how I set forwarding up in devices

    I’ve tried turning “BF JSON format” on & off, and tried sending the data to stem.ubidots.com/app/devices or to things.ubidots.com/api/v1.6/devices. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @jfspahn I hope this helps,

    Make sure you are using the Default token (NOT API KEY) from Ubidots.

    Then click the blue Ubidots button under the Send To in BrewersFriend to use the URL, https://things.ubidots.com/api/v1.6/devices/

    The data will be formatted for Ubidots and you do not need to check BF JSON Format.

    There is a limit of 3 devices on Ubidots so make sure you don't already have 3 devices since a new one will be created with the Tilt Color (or iSpindel name) on BrewersFriend.
