No bubbling in carboy

If there's a thick layer of foam on top, check your setup for gas leaks. If there's no foam on top or hasn't been any foam on top, you may have a problem with the yeast you pitched.

might have a leak, airlock activity really means nothing, there is allot of possibilities here so I won't speculate but Nosybear is right first check the foam on top

I haven't had any issue with corks leaking but I do have the orange cap style that I have to put a zip tie around because it will start to leak and nothing will come through the airlock.

When I use the bucket for fermentation, even with a rubber gasket around the lid, it leaks so much the airlock never bubbles. I don't generally have the problem with the "orange caps" on carboys but it has happened. If there's krauesen there's fermentation so if I have foam, I don't worry about the airlock.
