all this does is cut down the power, used it several times on my small pot and on all my pots I have a false bottom 1 inch above the element where anything like a bag can sit, also that element is a Ultra Low Watt Density so it doesn't get red hot, they say you can let your bag touch it and it won't melt, but I don't
I do have a arduino pulse system and some pid's, all 3 work great, I was just going with cheap and easy here
I have 2 dedicated breakers for mine, one in my control box and the other in the breaker box, overkill already
you can save money by adding a $12 -30 amp breaker inside the control box, use that also for the on/off switch.
buy a dryer or stove plug end and add it to the cord to the wall, plug it in either the stove or dryer sockets and those will have a dedicated breaker in the fuse box, or at least it should lol
