Yeah exactly. My IPL is basically an IPA with a lager grist and lager yeast...To me an IPL doesn't go over 35 IBUs, but seeing as it's not an official category you can do whatever you want

I was wondering what was going on there it just looked a bit odd.
If I were going the IPL route I'd be using pilsner as my base but I've not brewed one so take with a grian of salt.

It's mostly an "IPL' because my cellar's in the low 50s this time of year and I'll be using lager yeast.
