Got these yesterday. Enough 16 oz bottles for the 3 gallon batch of ordinary bitter I'm brewing this morning and enough 8.5 oz bottles for the barleywine I have planned for the end of the month.

flip top is the way to go just remember who you give them to
I had a case of 12 1L flip tops down to 2 from that case
lucky I have another 9 from various breweries
also a couple of Fischer 1/2L flip tops which I covet because they are from Strasburg and my grandmother was a Fischer and her family was from from there and probably related. Also have a few grolsch browns and various others. Keep your eyes peeled at garage sales and buy a bag of the rubber seals

No problem, these puppies aren't going anywhere.

I share a lot
Sometimes I'll bring them to a party
I have plenty and always get more at tag sales
Sometimes need to replace the bales
Sometimes I find bales from older bottles I don't intend to reuse
Keep your eyes peeled

I share also: mostly old Sam Adams bottles.

When I bottled, I had a capper. I could use almost anything I wanted, but I liked using the bombers. They were easier.
Now, if I want to transport something, it is a PET bottle carbonated from the CO2 tank.

Ones i share are always recycled commercial bottles. Then i don't care if they don't come back
