Today, way back in 1933, the US finally got over the stupidity that was prohibition and allowed stronger beer to be brewed. Previously it had to be .5% or lower, now it could be a whopping 3.5-4%!
People lined up at breweries and we consumed somewhere around 1.5 million barrels that day.
What are your plans for this great holiday? I'm finally going to keg a black IPA and probably knock back a few too

I'm in, celebrating later :)

Colorado's phasing out "3.2" beer (ABW, not ABV, which actually brings it up to around 4.5). But later I'll knock back a pint or two in celebration.

Yup, we celebrated that's why the brew day started later in the day!;)
