My Wheat Made It To The Bottles!

Bottled up my Honey Wheat Beer yesterday, end of the bottle filler fell off in the first bomber so i threw this one in the freezer to chill and opened it and drank it! Pretty tasty stuff, cant wait to hand it out.

Kinda had a side effect happen...... After i racked my jalapeno beer, and i cleaned everything up....
i used the same tubing and siphon to move the wheat beer to my bottling bucket so it has a tiny wee bit of pepper twang right at the end! lol Gonna have to buy some new equipment and just dedicate that stuff to chili brews!

Chilled a bottle of my wheat brew last night, and drank it. The "Jalapeno Effect" after taste at the end has been replaced with a high alcohol kick, and alot of the Hefe effect has went away and it just tastes like a run of the mill wheat beer taste.

Don't know if the honey really kinda put "the meed" to it or what?

Yep, i sure did. It's not a bad brew, it's just changed quite a bit in the little time it's spent bottled up.

Wheat bear ? i'm already bearing the scars of my last encounter with a drop bear ....now i have to avoid wheat fields too !
