I have noticed that in the recipes for feedback forum when people post their recipes many of the experienced brewers post that there is too much of X, or that that amount of Y will be overpowering. One of the Irish online home brew shops does give a maximum % of each grain type on their site, but it is difficult to thrall through as it is split up into base malts, roasted malts etc.
I think it would be a great addition to the site if such information could be added to the fermentables list.

Or even better that the rerecipeditor would inform the person building the rerecipehat their choice of grain exceeds the rerecommended

I know that these rules are not written in stone and some brewers may add more than a rerecommended of a grain to a rerecipes that is how they like their beer, but I feel that it would be a great rule of thumb for beginner all grain brewers to get off on the right track
