I brewed my Irish Red this year with Loughrans Pale Ale Malt.
I have always brewed it in the past with Munton's Maris Otter.
If memory serve correct, this malt is not only very different, but much more malty.
I get distinct brown sugar malt characteristics.
I haven't had enough to know if I like the differences or if it's almost too malty.
More pints will tell! ;-)
