    Hello everyone,
I would like to use lactose to sweeten up ciders and ginger beer. Does anybody have an estimate for how much lactose per gallon I should use?

I've used about a half lb in stouts before which seemed about right to me. But it's probably going to be a bit less for ciders and ginger beer

Start by adding small amount. You can add more if its not sweet enough but if you over sweeten you are stuck. I'd try 1/4 pound for a 5 gallon batch first.
