How do I convert British measurements to US measurements

Just to confound things more, in the US, the American units you allude to are designated "English Units".
I use this online calculator. https://measurementsconversion.com/

Under "Recipe Tools", select "Copy", edit that recipe and change the units from Metric to US.

Also, grams, kilograms, etc aren't British units. They are "Everyone but the USA" units.
