Help me choose a batch

I like the idea of variety, so it depends on the IPA and porter. If your IPA is a hop bomb, I'd vote bitter. If your porter is more on the rich side, then the alt would be a nice change of pace.

Bitter is one of my favorites, so I probably has a slight personal bias to that one :D

Thinking of adding a bit of corn sugar to bring down the FG on the ESB...

Strike that.

ESB has always been a favorite

Your favorite dry yeast for esb?

I've used Windsor, S-04, and Notty with bitters. I personally like Windsor of the lot, but it needs a little love if you want clear. I'd go Notty second... less personality, but a better looker (reminds me of some old girlfriends, lol).

I like Windsor in Porters, Scottish ales and Best Bitter.

Can you go liquid? I tried a variation when I was doing extracts and S 04 and I missed. My BIAB with the Fuller's strain (,WLP002) I loved. Go simple. 5 gallons _ Maris Otter 1lb British Crystal 80and maybe a little wheat for head retention. Fuggles hops. Fuller's strain does not attenuate worth a shit, so go high on OG and hop mid to high 30s IBUs.

Liquid isn't an option. No LHBS.

Sorry about that. I was just trying to throw something out there. I noticed a HUGE difference using a liquid Guinness strain with an Oatmeal Porter and using a Fuller's strain for an ESB. I love Alts, but I have never played with that yeast. I am very fortunate to have a homebrew store 20 minutes away with a decent yeast selection.
