I’ve been brewing extract kits for a couple of years, mostly IPAs, golden ales and stouts. I realised a month ago that it was time to branch out and start brewing my own recipes, so it was research time. That’s where the thanks come in.
I’ve spent most evenings this month on this site, in the forum and on the recipes section. Thanks to the members, posts and the recipes here I hammered out a recipe and worked out the process for a newbie extract brew.
I love American IPAs (I spend 4-6 weeks a year working in NYC & Chicago) so I’ve started with a 20 litre Amarillo & Cascade brew, using Vermont Ale yeast. Brew day was 2 days ago and fermenter is looking healthy
If it works well I’ll post the recipe, if not...I’ll try again!!!!
