Hi,
I'm new here and fairly new to brewing. I used to make up kits bak in the day and they were pretty grim. As my finances improved, I was able to buy "proper" beer, so I stopped making my own.
Craft beers have really caught my imagination and I'm now back after a hiatus of about 35 years. I'm (re)starting with a kit with a view to getting fermentation right and in due course I will get a Grainfather all in one system to make all-grain beers.
In terms of style, I like most "English" ales and I have a particular fondness for hoppy pale ales. There's a good chance that my first all-grain brew will be a SMaSH brew with plenty of hops...
I live in Swindon, which is roughly 70 mile west of London.
So that's me.
I'm looking forward to learning loads and sharing my brewing journey with you.
Cheers!
Mark
