    Hi!
I am new to brewing and what little I have done so far has me hooked. It appeals to the hunter/gatherer in me. Right now I am doing partial mash but am looking forward to learning more and graduating to all-grain soon. I started with wine (peach and wild blackberry) last year and then onto beer. I am bottling my first Brown Ale attempt this weekend and after washing all those recycled bottles last night, I have become very interested in kegging. So many new things to learn. I look forward to using this site and I appreciate the forum for the help it may provide in the future. My hubby thinks I've lost my mind. Ha.
    I probably have. ;-)

BTW are there any other lady brewers out there or am I one of the strange ones?

    Welcome to the fold!

Having a supporting partner is a big plus.

You are not alone as a female brewer. I don't know what the current ratio is, but it used to be the opposite. History tells us the first brewers were women. As it turns out, kcpup is a she, and a blog post author for Brewer's Friend. http://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/brewer/993/kcpup

    Happy brewing! :D
