Hi folks. I'd like to try this sometime. I wonder if it would mimic some of the effects of decoction mashing. I found this video and it's triggered my experimental urges, but I think I might prepare a pre-mashed, pre-baked portion of the grain bill ahead of the main brew day...
 
I don't know how close it will be to a decoction mash but it sounds like a fascinating experiment! I hope you try it and let us know how it turns out.
I second this, lol.
