How do you search for a member???

you currently cant search for a brewer, if they use the forum just click on the name, otherwise go to browse/ members and scroll through the list

click on someones name then public profile, then follow

You can also ask them to send you the link to their public profile, located on the dashboard.

But I agree, search would be preferable.
