Floating Diptubes?

I use floating diptubes for fermentation

They don't seem to have one with a float, but they do have the filter screens...

I use one of these in an allrounder.
After many brews, I only ever had one issue.
It actually got hung up on the side of the fermenter a bit in the yeast sludge. That was a rough transfer, but only ever had the issue once, and have never had it clog up (sometimes I dry hop heavily).

I've been using this style, works for me. I'm embarrassed to say it took over a year of brewing before I realize the end pops off for cleaning! I then put a stir magnetic from my stir plate for weight and used a strong magnetic on the outside of my fermzilla to move it around and keep out if the sediment during transfer to my keg.

Clever idea to put the magnet in the filter!

Mine have the float and mesh filter they also came with a stainless steel washer to weigh everything down just a bit and keep it from floating too high and sucking foam and CO2 rather than beer. Seems to work just fine.
I have heard good things about using the stainless steel washer on it so it does not ride so high. I have used the same thing without the washer and sometimes it will suck air on a transfer in the All Rounder.

I use the filtered one in my All Rounder but also do not dry hop many beers. I like the idea of a stainless washer on it to drop it down a bit, but I have not done that yet.

I have a non-filtered one, much like your photo, on one of my dispensing kegs. It worked great for a fruited beer and an IPA that I did, but not enough to convert every keg I had to floating dip tubes.

I have mine in the keg now. It will be my first time using it. We shall see next week after the set and forget. After the last beer, I felt I needed to experiment if I decide to add a bunch of hops again.
