    Eddie has passed, RIP.
    Age 65, throat cancer.
    Guitar legend.
Only saw them once, Sammy Hagar was the singer at that time.
I put on "Eruption" cranked real loud as soon as I heard.
Link here if you care to give it a listen

Not my kind of music, but he sure could wield an axe. RIP Eddie.

I still remember when he married Valerie Bertinelli thinking he was the luckiest guy on earth.

For me, Eddie V was the man!
Van Halen was the music of my youth. Gonna need to crank up some tunes later. RIP Eddie

Yeah, I never liked him after he did that! :p
In my opinion, Eruption is the best guitar intro ever!

Been rockin’ VH tonight - always an audio treat. Kinda like hard rock Beach Boys, because VH could harmonize with the very best of them.

Great bit on Eddie Van Halen this morning on Howard Stern. All kinds of bits and pieces I never knew.
And for as great as Eddie was, everyone else in the band was just as equally talented. I've long been a big fan of Alex's work on the skins. He's just a beast and Michael Anthony is no slouch either.
I love, love the intro to Pretty Woman.

Since I was kid jumping on the table during the Hot for teacher video to finally getting to see each tour from 2004 on this sucks. EVH was the man!
