As far as I can tell the only time that the ABV% is calculated is after "Final Fermentation Complete" log entry type is selected. Would like to have and ABV% (and attenuation%??) calculated for the "Sample" log entry type also, so I know how things are going when I take sample readings during racking and occasional checks.
Re: Include ABV% calculation in "Sample" log type The simplest thing for us to do at this point is change it so the ABV/Attenuation box uses the most recent "Racked" or "Sample" record. Right now you are correct in that it only reads from 'Fermentation Complete' log entries. If the record came from a 'sample', we could add a notice like 'In Progress...' or something. Showing ABV/Attenuation for each brew log row would be more work. Does the simple solution work for you?
Re: Include ABV% calculation in "Sample" log type That would be perfect for my needs. At the end of the day the "final" is the only one that matters but sometimes getting a check when racking midway through the process is a good idea. Thanks so much for the prompt reply!
Re: Include ABV% calculation in "Sample" log type This is coded and will go out in the next release! Here is what it will look like with a racked or sample log entry:
