The release we just did this morning also included several hundred new yeast name mappings for the BeerXML import feature.
For example, 1056 could be named:
1056 American Ale
American Ale Yeast 1056
Wyeast American Ale 1056
Wyeast-1056 American Ale
...
Normally the yeast->productId field is set in the BeerXML, and the system tries to match with that first. There have been cases in the log where a file being imported has a blank productId and only provides the yeast name. We now cover a lot more combinations when it comes to matching yeast by name only.
Also, about a dozen style name variations were added to the style match list.
Happy brewing!
