I had an event last night (and another tonight) and I'm sorry I missed you all (again). Happy New Year to you all!

My son was able to send me a message today, and it was just after midnight where he was (in the Indo-Pacific somewhere) so that was a nice note. I haven't heard more than a word or two from him since was was deployed.

It really was- I know he's a grown man, but a mom always misses her kids when they can't at least call on Christmas, and go up to three years the last time without seeing him! He's supposed to be getting stationed stateside on shore duty next year if things don't change- and that will be great.
