C'mon down to Georgia. We actually let breweries sell the beer they brew, and play as much cornhole as you want... with music!

The (not-very-intelligent) politicians in New Jersey and their anti-everyone policies are one reason I left that state after 55 years.

This, though, is the beauty of the Federalist system: most of the Big laws are the same, but if you don't like the Littler laws, you can choose to live where you do like them.

Head for the Delaware and keep going!

I guess the NJ Restaurant Lobby felt like the breweries were "eating " their profits! Hey Brian, @The Brew Mentor and other publicans....Stupid as this is, Jersey is often a bellweather state! Heads up!
You mean a state government somewhere in the Northeast did something to stifle business? I'm shocked! LOL
Our state government is not one of the most intelligent, and we probably have the biggest idiot anywhere for a Governor, but we do have a rapidly growing brewery scene. A couple have revitalized some downtown areas, and they generally draw a decent group of people. The wife and I do our part to increase the state's sales tax collection at the breweries:)

The rules cover everything from how many television sets a brewery can have and what size (no more than two, no bigger than 65 inches) and a near complete ban on serving food.

Breweries aren’t allowed to serve coffee, or any other beverage that they don’t make on the premises. So it’s just beer, and soft drinks — if they make it.

Looks like the Restaurant & Bar Lobby got their money's worth on this legislation.

As a former Garbage Stater, I can't say I miss the place ... but ya know...when the State doesn't trust you to pump your own gas....well, that just speaks volumes!

Well it is a known fact that 70" TV's, especially when there are more than two of them are simply pure evil, so I totally get this lawo_O
Wouldn't a law suit citing infringement of basic constitutional rights get this law overturned?

Heh. Not in New Jersey. Basic rights were repealed in the '60s.
