As a recently diagnosed Type 2 diabetic, carbohydrates have become of great interest to me. I can do the calculations on my own but I'm sure there are others who need this information, whether for medical reasons or just to lose weight. The carbs in a 12-ounce beer come up in the Brew Session, any way to make an independent calculator that allows the user to:
- Enter the serving size (not everyone drinks 12 ounces at a time)
- Enter the OG in SG or Plato
- Enter the FG in SG or Plato
Alternately, calculate the OG from the ABV and FG.
The calculator should then return:
- Total calories in the beer
- Grams of alcohol
- Calories from alcohol
- Grams of carbohydrates
- Calories from carbohydrates
