In a brew session, when my mash efficiency isn't what I had planned for, I'd like to have have an easy way to adjust my wort before I begin the boil. I know there's a boiloff/dilution calculator, and that's certainly one way to solve the problem. Sometimes, though, I'd rather just add some malt extract to make up lost gravity points for poor conversion, instead of lengthening the boil.

Currently, I use this calculator for determining how much malt extract or sugar to add: http://www.topdownbrew.com/gravityAdjustmentExtract.html. However, it would be nice to see such a calculator integrated into Brewer's Friend and linked from the brew session page, just like how the "priming sugar calculator" is linked directly into the "amount packaged" section of the brew session page. As a bonus, the calculator could have fields like "current volume" and "current gravity" or even "desired volume" and "desired gravity" pre-filled from the recipe attached to the brew session.

This site has a similar calc

@Minbari
I haven't seen the calculator for adjusting gravity with DME?
I have only seen the boil off dilution calculator, and use the calculator on Brewfather for adding DME

That might be. I didn't look at it too carefully. I know the other site does

I haven’t done that in a long time (maybe ever, now that I think about it) but if others would like a calculator like that, I’ll see if we can add it to our standalone calculator group. I can’t picture a way to integrate something like that into the recipe builder.

Only way I can think of would be to have a measured gravity field and measured volume, would probably not exist until we combine recipe builder and brew sessions into one entity.

I don't see any need to try and integrate this into the recipe builder.
But a stand alone calculator would be beneficial.
This is what the "other guys" calculator looks like, the options on the right are DME, LME, and Table Sugar.

I’m thinking a simple standalone calculator, like our chaptalization calculator. Put in the current gravity, put in the desired gravity, click ‘dme/LME/corn sugar’ and spit out an amount.

Or even our dilution/boil off calculator: https://www.brewersfriend.com/dilution-and-boiloff-gravity-calculator/

I agree, I’m just brewing an all grain weizen and my post boil gravity is a bit low. I would love to have a way to just add a certain amount of DME for a quick adjustment and call it a night. It would be extremely helpful! That way I don’t have to boil it down and then not maximize my fermenter space. Also it would help save a little energy.
I think adding the option in the dilution/ boil off calculator would be a really welcome addition. Thank you!
