Does anyone have experience buying so called "empty" cans on eBay? I was curious what the real deal is with that. It kinda looks like "empty" is a term used so it meets eBays terms and conditions, but the cans are full?

In case anyone cares, I'd like to trade or buy some Treehouse Julius, etc... or Bearded Iris Homestyle IPA.

I don’t have experience with it, but I do remember a few years ago when Ebay cracked down on the selling of alcohol, requiring the seller to say things like “collectors item only” for Utopias. I guess Ebay allows you to sell collectors items of empty cans now, as a way around selling alcohol illegally.
