Created my first recipe and looking for some feedback.
Looking for a nice Brown Ale with just a bit of bite.

HOME BREW RECIPE:

SRM (morey): 21.85

5 lb - Liquid Malt Extract - Light (55.6%)
1 lb - Liquid Malt Extract - Wheat (11.1%)

STEEPING GRAINS:
1.25 lb - American - Carapils (Dextrine Malt) (13.9%)
1.25 lb - American - Caramel / Crystal 40L (13.9%)
0.5 lb - American - Chocolate (5.6%)

HOPS:
1 oz - Northern Brewer , Type: Pellet, AA: 6.5, Use: Boil for 30 min, IBU: 17.25
1 oz - Northern Brewer , Type: Pellet, AA: 6.5, Use: Boil for 10 min, IBU: 8.14
1 oz - Cascade, Type: Pellet, AA: 6, Use: Boil for 10 min, IBU: 7.51

might try gold extract instead of light or morris otter, makes more sense in a brown
 
you will want to adjust your efficiency to something like 30% so that your predicted OG and FG will be close to your actual.

And what sort of bite are you looking for?
