Hello fellow brewers, hello from the tall corn state. I have been an extract brewer for some time. I was introduced to brewing by some of my army friends back in the 80's. I admired their skill and talent. Years later, I gave it a try and I am still brewing, still learning. I like extract brewing. kits are fun and It makes experimenting easy. I want to try 1 gallon batches this year. I have a "honey lager in the carboy now and just bottled my 1st hard cider. The Lager is an experiment and the cider is a kit, but after brewing the cider and making notes I want to modify it and change it up. Just need a good solid starting off point. I think two of the best beers I have made were an American Amber Ale and a Russian Stout.

great to have ya, you can make up extract recipes here on this site also, I do it every now and then, it seems time is always an issue and extract brewing is a breeze compared to my all grain day, good luck !!
