BIAB Grain Crush

I read somewhere that we should mill BIAB grains finer than all grain brewing to improve Efficiency,
if this is true how fine is fine ?

BIAB crush until you are scared and then some more
my efficiency went from 68 to 73/75 when I got a mill and crushed as fine as the mill allowed

Pretty sure you will destroy your coffee mill.

I have my grain mill set to .022". Pretty damn small. Very small pieces and a little flour, but not enough to clog up

I use a Kitchen Aid grain mill. “Crush” is too polite of a word for what this mill does.

Wow that is not far off Flour .

Similar texture I used to get with Thermomix.

I set my mill as close as it goes here too for BIAB.

By running my grain through my mill twice for a standard recipe I got an original gravity of 1.050 instead of the usual 1.044.

I recommend against it. But that size/consistency is about right.

Second milling is real quick and it just works for me
With biab, you cant really go too small.
I made a hazy cheapskate the one day, using AP flour
