Very nice. I was almost going to judge you harshly for being a lefty...but I see the video is reversed. :p

You say there is room for improvement, but what is the end goal? To be Tom Petty? Or to be on key and entertaining? If the latter, you are there. Stop by sometime, I'll build a fire and bring out the beer.

I've been playing guitar (self taught) all my life I can strum a tune but not great when I saw you play I thought hmmm he goes alright.;)

I've played a few tunes around the fire so to speak and most the time people don't really care your not Jimmy Hendrix you just gotta be able to play a tune and hold a note which I think you've got down pat.
Keep practicing.
